Dominik Kornat was born and raised in Poznań. Passionate about computers, the IT world seemed the right path to pursue in Dominik’s mind, and so he did. A few years ago, he joined an IT major and he is now part of our top-notch consultants at Prime Engineering.

Our Dynamics Consultant is tech-savvy, but he also has a taste for exploring different cuisines of the world. Sports are a passion for Dominik, especially when martial arts, soccer, or tennis come into the conversation. When he’s not working with technology, you will probably find him outside playing sports. For someone who does not know what a Dynamics Consultant is, describe to us what you do on a daily basis.

What I do is strongly dependent on the type of project. Nevertheless, meetings are an integral part of my work, as well as the implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.

I prepare the system by configuring the functionalities available out of the box, as well as stepping into the role of a developer and adding new functionalities if necessary. Sometimes I also conduct training or workshops for end users as well as for technical people.

What led you to Prime Engineering?

I got a call back from one of Prime Engineering’s recruiters and she made me an offer for the position of a Dynamics 365 consultant. The vision of the company, the interesting offer, and the friendliness of the people at Prime Engineering made me decide to join the team.

What can you tell us about your working experience with our company?

So far, I have been working with Prime Engineering for two months, and the help of people and their support make me feel like I have been working here for at least two years. I get help and support every time I need it.

A lot of organisations are undergoing digital transformation and the demand for Dynamics professionals is expected to increase significantly. What advice do you have for others looking to pursue a career like yours?

In my humble opinion, in addition to the sheer knowledge associated with Dynamics 365, it is also worthwhile to delve into Power Platform tools.
Low code solutions are an interesting alternative to classic application development, and besides, Power Platform tools are often used in Dynamics 365 implementations.

What are the most wanted skills for a Dynamics consultant?

In addition to knowledge of the system itself, a very important skill is the ability to talk to the business and interpret their requirements. A Dynamics consultant should think outside the box so that he or she can find the best solution for a given functionality. Knowledge of Power Platform tools can also be helpful.

What are the key benefits of Dynamics for organizations?

Dynamics 365 gives you the ability to easily expand your systems and modules. Many system components can be created without programming knowledge, using only system configuration or low-code tools. Dynamics 365 is also an ideal system for organizations that require some flexibility from the system.
